Antique Victorian Art Nouveau Walnut and Mahogany Princess Dressing Table C1890 Wdb4980/7.9

Description

Lovely antique art nouveau walnut and mahogany princess dressing table and dating from around 1890. It has a swan neck pedament to the top with carved cartouche to the centre above a shaped bevelled mirror with carved frieze and supported on swan shaped carved stanchions and shaped shelf with two small jewellery drawers. It has a moulded edge to the top above two small drawers over two long drawers all of which are oak lined and with copper handles and lovely burr walnut fronts. It stands on tapering legs on castors joined by a shaped frieze.

The top removes for ease of transporting.

In very good condition with a lovely deep mellow colour and patination to both the mahogany and burr walnut and it measures:

66" high to top of mirror X 32" high to base X 19" deep X 42" wide
