A lovely antique Afshar rug, handwoven circa 1900 with an all over geometrical design of linked lozenges on a camel field. Interesting fact alert - the camel colour in the rug is camel hair rather than wool!
Size: 1.88m x 1.47m (6ft 2in x 4ft 10in)
This rug is in good condition with moderate even wear, slightly heavier in places (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
