A beautiful little antique Qashqai rug, handwoven by the eponymous nomadic tribe circa 1920 with a 3 medallion geometrical design of stylised flowers, vines (and a couple of goats!) on a terracotta field and ivory border. A great example of tribal weaving.
Size: 1.92m x 1.16m (6ft 7in x 3ft 10in)
This rug is in good condition with even age-related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
