A beautiful antique Tibetan rug, handwoven circa 1900 with a traditional design featuring 3 large peonies on a deep indigo field surrounded by a greek key border interspersed with cartouches of floral vases. Lovely wool quality.
Size: 1.40m x 0.91m (4ft 7in x 3ft)
This rug is in good condition with light, age-related wear, slightly heavier in places (see photos). The fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
