Antique Persian hamadan, handwoven runner, approximately 10''3'' x 3''5'', dating from the late C19th/ early C20th. This quality runner has a red coloured field with triple medallions, enclosed by multiple repeating narrow borders. A hand knotted, rug with medium pile, short fringes to both ends. Wool pile and cotton foundations.
A good quality period rug, used condition and quite charming, ready for use.
