Description

Antique Persian hamadan, handwoven runner, approximately 10'3" x 3'5", dating from the late C19th/ early C20th. This quality runner has a red coloured field with triple medallions, enclosed by multiple repeating narrow borders. A hand knotted, rug with medium pile, short fringes to both ends. Wool pile and cotton foundations.

A good quality period rug, used condition and quite charming, ready for use.

Dimensions:

This rug measures approximately 313 cm long including fringes, and 105.5 cm wide.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in reasonable condition, commensurate with its age. Some wear to the pile, see pictures. A good regular shape for a handwoven rug. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
