Antique Yalameh Carpet 329 X 198

Description

This is a super quality antique Yalameh carpet with a fabulous design and a very appealing colour palette. The carpet dates from around 1920 and has a typical Yalameh repeat diamond polychrome lozenges set into squares and surrounded by deep rich blue borders. The wool used is soft and lustrous, giving the carpet a lovely handle. This has a crisp, sharp design with a finely woven detail and beautiful strong colours.

This is a good rare size measuring 329 cms by 198 cms. It would look terrific in between two large sofas and would add great style and colour to a living space. It is in excellent condition throughout.
