Description

Antique Victorian Mahogany Dressing Chest and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a carved pediment top to the mirror set within a mahogany frame and with carved and scrolled supports above two jewellery drawers to each side with original turned knob handles and joined by a turned spindle frieze to the back. The chest has a moulded edge to the top with two short drawers over two long drawers all of which are mahogany lined with original turned knob handles. It is raised on a deep plinth base.
MEASURES: 65” HIGH TO TOP OF MIRROR X 30” HIGH TO TOP X 20.5” DEP X 46” WIDE
With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
