An incredibly rare and long antique Kazak runner, dating from circa 1880 and in breath-taking original condition! It has been privately owned for most of its life, a rare find and one that really is remarkable for us to see.  The condition of high soft highland wool from Kazak is thick and soft, with exquisite natural dyes.  Rare yellow probably saffron dyes, variable green dyes, pale blues and early browns too.  Some tiny losses to the original kilim ends, but in general the runner is in nearly perfect order.
