Description

This is an antique compact chest of drawers. An English, oak bedside cabinet, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1800.
Striking antique chest of drawers with eye-catching figuring
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Select oak shows fine grain interest and an abundance of medullary rays
Deep caramel hues beam beneath the wax polish finish
Each drawer dressed with brass drop handles over circular backs
Mahogany border adds contrast detail to the drawer fronts
Quality oak drawer boxes with inset, brass-lined locks to each — key absent
Standing upon ogee bracket feet to the front, with bracket feet to rear
