Description

This is a fabulous Soumakh flatweave carpet dating from the early 20th Century. The carpet has a very pleasing Arts and Crafts design of large soft pink flower heads in a forest green field with scrolling leaves and serrated leaves. The deep red foliate borders also feature pink and forest green. This is in excellent condition, cleaned and ready to use. It looks very striking down on the floor.

The carpet is a good room size measuring 310 cms by 237 cms.
