Description

This is a beautiful hand woven woollen Bakhtiari carpet dating from around 1920. The carpet has a wonderful diamond lattice design with pretty cypress trees and flowers framed by the geometric panels. It has a warm colour palette with soft red, indigo, ivory and a lovely jade green to the little trees. It is in excelllent condition and is a great room size measuring 328 cms by 216 cms.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
