A beautiful antique Sarouk rug, handwoven circa 1910 with an all over Boteh (or Paisley) design on an ivory field and deep indigo border. Lovely wool quality and stunning secondary colours of golds, reds, greens and blues.
Size: 2.07m x 1.30m (6ft 10in x 4ft 3in)
This rug is in good overall condition with light, age related wear. The two ends have been professionally restored (see photos). The fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
