Antique Bakhtiari Rug Carpet West Persia

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a really attractive Bakhtiari carpet with a deep rose pink field hand woven in soft wool with a lovely thick, deep pile. The design has angular serrated vines around an ivory medallion, enclosed by pretty meandering vine borders borders. The carpet dates from the early 20th Century and is in very good order.

It is a good useful size has measuring 210 cms by 142 cms.
