A lovely antique runner, hand woven in the Caucasus mountains of modern day Azerbaijan circa 1890’s with a geometrical star design on an indigo field and ivory border. Fabulous wool quality and stunning secondary colours.
Size: 2.59m x 1.07m (8ft 6in x 3ft 6in)
This runner is in good condition with light, age related wear, slightly heavier in places (see photos). The fringes are original and selvedges are secure. A few small, well executed repairs (see photos) and a tiny amount of colour run (again, see photos).
