Words cannot describe how stunning this little rare Lesghi rug is, you need to see it up close to fully appreciate the colours and quality of wool on display! It has a thick soft wool pile, full of early aubergine dyes, yellows, deep reds, greens and blues.  An absolute stunning Caucasian rug! Their is corrosion to the brown/black background, which adds character and gives the pile an embossed look and feel.We love the large and bold ivory border with the Kufic design, or more often know as the ''Crab'' border, which is actually a crude rosette with four crudely drawn leaves.  We love the crab design though.
