Farnham Antique Carpets has dated this piece to the 1870s.
The minor green border is lovely too, which changes to pale blues as the weavers ran out of this dye.

A wonderful open feel to this piece, ideal for a drawing room, study or entrance hall. The condition is very nice, with a soft wool pile and minimal lower areas. Some corrosion can be seen to the black dyes, due to the iron properties of the wool from this time of weaving.
