English Mahogany Kidney Desk

1900 - 1920
Description

Great size Edwardian mahogany kidney shape dressing table or desk with a lovely old worn leather top and nine good size storage drawers, circa 1900.

I have shown this piece with a free standing dressing table mirror ( only as an example! ) to show that although this is really a desk, it works very well as a dressing table, even more so with all these drawers too.

Made in mahogany with beaded drawers, all original turned handles and standing on elegant tapered legs and retaining its original brass castors. This piece can "free stand" if necessary as the back is finished and polished.

Great size and in nice condition.

28 1/4 inches or 72 cm high

48 1/4 inches or 122.5 cm wide

21 inches or 53.5 cm shallowest centre depth

26 inches or 66 cm deepest point

22 1/2 inches or 57 cm Kneehole height

18 inches or 46 cm kneehole width
