Good Antique Nejafabad Isfahan Carpet 390 X 262

Description

This is a most appealing quality Nejafabad Isfahan carpet with a great design dating from the early 20th century. Isfahan carpets, and particularly those from Nejafabad are woven with the finest of wools and generally have very intricate and curvaceous designs.

This carpet has a very pleasing colour palette which would suit most interiors with a warm ivory field and an allover design of large flowerheads and scrolling vines in soft blue, coral and indigo, all enclosed by multiple terracotta borders.

The carpet is in excellent condition with an even pile and complete selvedges and ends. It is a good room size measuring 390 cms by 262 cms.
