A fabulous antique Heriz carpet from the early 20th Century, dating around 1915-1920 and in sublime original condition. A high wool pile can be seen throughout this exquisite and vibrant antique carpet from North-West Persia. Heriz have always been regarded as tough, decorative rugs and this wonderful example is a prime example. With stunning rich and colourful natural dyes, the pale blues and soft yellows work beautifully with the warm reds and deep indigo dyes.
