Description

A beautiful antique Beshir carpet, handwoven in northern Afghanistan circa 1920 with an all over design of linked flower heads on a dark plum red field and deep indigo border. Fabulous wool quality with a soft, almost silky feel and great. saturated dyes.

Size: 3.20m x 2.65m (10ft 6in x 8'ft 8in)

This rug is in excellent original condition with very light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
