Good Antique Saroukh Carpet 204 X 134

1920 - 1940
Description

This is a good quality, attractive hand woven Saroukh carpet dating from around 1930. It has a stepped pole medallion design with flower filled field and triple borders. The ground colour is indigo blue but the carpet features lots of light blue, warm red, sand and ivory which really lifts it. In excellent condition this is ready to use and measures 204 cms by 134 cms.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
