Fishing Boat - Antique Painting

Description

Framed oil mixed media painting of a moored fishing boat. The painting is mounted in wooden frame which has some knocks and there are some very slight marks on the painting.

The painting is signed by the artist Macette, a Belgian painter born in 1853 and died in 1929. He was a painter of genre scenes, still lifes, landscapes and seascapes. Marcette studied at the academy of Brussels, with Portaels and Meunier.
