A Welsh oak two-part dresser of wonderful rich reddish-brown colour and excellent patina, having a shaped open rack with wide pine backboards, over a base with three drawers above cock-beaded ogee-shaped arches, raised on finely-turned legs united by a potboard with a plinth surround.
Meirionnydd, circa 1760.
Height: 81 ins; 206 cms
Width: 73 ½ ins; 187 cms
Depth: 17 ins; 43 cms
The potboard has had a hard life and the boards are well worn and pitted.
(Restoration: Parts of potboard, backboards to base, base of rear legs and handles replaced.)
