A really good pair of Japanese inlaid bronze vases of large size . Inlaid all around with exotic birds and floral tree`s in mixed metals including gold,silver, shakudo , shibuichi and copper . A good example of Meiji metalworker`s skill which has never been surpassed . With a combined weight of over 16 Kilograms these are a very substantial pair of vases and are most attractive , not easily available in today`s market .Don has been dealing in Meiji period art for 60 years , exhibiting in London , New York , Baltimore , Miami and Shanghai.
