A very stylish and unusual pair of French mahogany Empire Period Cartonniers. Each having 8 pull-out boxes covered in green leather with gold tooling. The stiles and frieze embellished with gilded brass sphinxes, honey suckle and lions paw feet. This stunning pair of chests of drawers are raised on mahogany plinth bases and are in very good original condition.Dimensions:- Height…68.75’’/ 174.5cm. Width…24’’/ 61cm. Depth…15.5’’/ 39.5cm.
