An Early 19th Century English Ridgeway Porcelain Cabinet Cup and Saucer

This bright and richly decorated English Ridgway porcelain cabinet cup and saucer is finely hand painted with English landscape rural scenes. The saucer has three views and the cup has two. Each highlighted and displayed within a richly gilded cartouche with a crimson background further enhanced with gilt swags. The matching cup is interestingly decorated mainly on the inside which is far more difficult to produce than exterior decoration.

In good condition with no restoration.
