A lovely vintage Qashqai rug, handwoven by the eponymous nomadic tribe circa 1940 with a single medallion design on a rich red field and great secondary colours. A great example of tribal weaving from this period.
Size: 2.00m x 1.37m (6ft 7in x 4ft 6in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age-related wear. Fringes and selvedges are original and secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
