Old Afghan prayer rug of traditional village mosque design.

The rug is of interesting design with a large lantern hanging down from the mihrab. The rug has a soft red that is slightly faded.
The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile. This is a very thick heavy rug.
The rug retains the original kilim end finishes and tassels.
The rug is suitable for heavy domestic use such as an entrance hall way.
