A very pretty antique Ushak carpet, with gentle pink dyes and soft greens, some of the famous orange tones and deep purple dyes have been used too. The overall composition and palette is wonderful, a very large open design of floral motifs with the ''Harshang'' design, an ancient carpet pattern. The light green border is quite sublime. A really beautiful antique carpet woven around 1890-1900 in good original order.
A sturdy pile is apparent over most of this antique carpet, with minimal lower areas. All of our carpets and rugs are supplied with excellent underlay. This aids the carpet massively, preventing movement which in turn helps preserve the carpet on a wooden, tiled, sisal or carpeted floor.
