Antique Pewter has dated this piece to the 1750s.
The plate has two good touch marks to the reverse. The reverse rim has the scratched initials 'AA'.

Note: Items by Cornish Pewterer's are considered scarce. A single reeded plate by John Williams is in the Royal Cornwall Museum, item number 1933.15.
Condition:
The plate is in good condition with a polished finish to the front, there are some knife marks to the front showing signs of use. The reverse is also polished.
