Description

This is a very nice example of Baktiari village weaving. The Baktiari tribe migrated in the Zagros Mountains of southern Persia up to the early 20th century when they settled in villages.. Our rug has a fine weave and very solid structure. Lovely natural dyes and a very pretty well drawn design. Note the elegant medallion and the charming twinned botehs. The border is also very attractive, complementing the field well. Generally good pile. Professionally cleaned.
