Description

Antique Ukrainian kilims offer an alternative to traditional oriental style carpets. The designs are usually quite simple and rustic, with a subtle range of colours. This piece is a fine example. It has very pretty pastel colours and a delicate floral design arranged in a very restrained way which makes it a very easy piece to live with. Please note the fine technical features of the weave which give the design a three dimensional appearance. Probably cherished over the generations, it has survived in very good condition. Professionally cleaned in our own workshops.
