Antique Turkish Bergama rug of small size, the rug has an interesting repeat design.

Circa 1890.

The rug has a all over compartment design in alternating colours of red and light indigo blue, each compartment contains a totemic bird head design. The rug has an archaic feel that would complement a contemporary setting.

The rug is in good condition with even wear and medium pile. The rug retains its original kilim end finishes but these are showing signs of wear, the sides have been re-bound and there are a few scattered small old repairs.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
