This Heriz carpet demonstrates the wonderful vitality of this group of antique Persian carpets. The colours are happy and well blended. Note in particular the pleasing terracotta background and the lovely pale blue in the details The design is open and with some beautifully drawn elements. The border flowers too are very nicely drawn. This is a decorative carpet which would work equally well in both traditional and contemporary settings. The condition is good, with just the right signs of wear to give it the elusive lived-in look. Professionally cleaned and ready for immediate use.
