Antique Heriz Carpet Room Size

1920 - 1940
Description

This is a very attractive hand woven woollen Heriz carpet dating from around 1930. The carpet has an angular field with a large central medallion and deep flower filled borders. The colour palette is warm and dramatic with indigo, mid blue, ivory, warm red and gold all being employed. This fabulously warm and woolly carpet would add character and style to any living space.

It is in excellent condition throughout and will give years and years of service.

A generous room size it measures 405 cms by 303 cms.
