Some burnt oranges tones are famous of Ushak carpets and aubergine tones too. A wonderful decorative antique carpet, in good order in general, with areas of antique restoration in places. A sturdy pile is apparent over most of the carpet and supplied with our underlay this aids the carpet massively. Preventing movement which in turn helps preserve the carpet on wooden, tiled, sisal or carpeted floors.

Please Request a Home Visit to see this beautiful Oushak carpet at home, we love to travel, having visited clients and interior designers all over the UK for the last 30 years.
Ushaks were woven in Western Anatolia which was one of the largest rug production areas since the Ottoman Empire. Their designs tend to be more open than Persian rugs and soft dyes are not uncommon. Often younger Ushaks or Oushaks will be rich red in colour and use bolder geometric designs. This Anatolian carpet has an almost contemporary feel to it and would work in a modern space as well as traditional. We clean every carpet before offering it for sale and make sure the ends and fringes are secured. A decorative subtle piece ideal for a soft scheme.
