1887 Ceremonial Foundation Trowel

Description

White metal trowel (no hallmarks but tests as silver) with an ivory handle. Engraved for foundation stone laid for the Victoria Jubilee Hospital, Amah on 7th April 1887 by William Crooke Esq B.A.C.S., the hospital being founded by Raja Baldeo Singh.

An attractive item of quality and historical interest.
