A lovely antique Gendje rug, handwoven in west Azerbaijan circa 1900 with a geometrical five medallion design on a red and blue field and fabulous secondary colours.
Size: 1.80m x 0.95m (5ft 11in x 3ft 2in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. The fringes and selvedges are original and secure and it has been professionally cleaned. Small surface mark, barely visible on centre medallion (see photos).
