Old Shahar Bebek Afshar rug with Gol Ferang design on ivory ground. The piece is highly unusual for not only its generous squarish proportions, but the inclusion of several human figures, a whimsical and charming feature. Condition is pretty good, even low pile, one or two slightly faded areas, a crease at one end which we could fix if required. Deep cleaned and floor ready. Circa 1920
