Antique Turkish Ghiordes prayer rug of classic design with soft colour and early date.

18th Century.

The rug is beautifully drawn with superb pastel colours through out with a dark indigo blue in the central field. The wide border design is very attractive.

The rug is in fair condition with wear, heavy in places and medium / low pile.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display. The rug is suitable for very light domestic use, but would make a superb wall hanging.
