Size: 5ft 11in x 3ft 8in (180 x 111cm).

Antique Turkish Oushak region prayer rug of classic design with soft pastel colours.

Late 19th Century.

The rug is of a traditional prayer design with soft red ground, the pastel coloured border gives the rug a light feel.

The rug is in fair condition with even wear and low pile, there are scattered historic repairs some of which have faded. The wool is very soft and the rug has a floppy handle.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display. The rug is suitable for light domestic use.
