Antique Persian Mohtasham Kashan rug of outstanding design and colour.
Circa 1890.
The rug has a small single medallion design, woven in a reds and blues. The classic border design is on a dark indigo blue that contrasts well with the rug. The sides of the rug are bound in crimson/purple silk.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
