Size: 7ft 10in x 4ft 8in (240 x 142cm).

Antique Caucasian Chajli rug with all triple medallion design.

Circa 1890.

A superb example of a Chajli rug, with three large octagonal medallions on a madder red field framed by a classic border. The colours are outstanding and make this a visually spectacular rug.

The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium / low pile. There is some corrosion to the black and a number of small old re-weaves.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
