Description

This is a stylish and attractive handwoven Kazak carpet from around 1930. With a triple lozenge design and geometric motifs the carpet is very typical of Kazak design. It has a cheerful and pleasing colour palette, also in common with many Kazak carpets, its main ground colour being a soft duck egg blue and featuring shades of raspberry, ivory, and gold. Its condition is very good with complete ends and selvedges. Bringing style and colour to a room this a is a very nice little Kazak, measuring 120 cms by 89 cms.
