Description

This is a beautiful hand woven Agra design carpet dating from around 1910. The room size carpet has a very pleasing design and well drawn with large central medallion and stylised geometric floral motifs throughout. The shades used work well together; salmon pink, indigo, warm ivory, a beautiful leaf green. The weave of the carpet and wool used is very soft and lustrous. As the photos show, there is wear to some areas but this has great look and looks amazing down on the floor.

The carpet measures a generous 340 cms by 241 cms and would bring warmth and character to a living space.
