A fabulous finely cast antique bronze sculpture of a French Bulldog. The sculpture stands in typical bulldog stance. He wears a collar with a moveable bell dangling. Beautifully executed, the detail is superb and is a very realistic representation, including the wonderful face, fur, muscular legs and paws. Great patination and in lovely condition. Dated circa 1910. Lovely proportions (length: 8 cm) and a good heavy weight, he stands nice and sturdy.
