A lovely antique Qashqai carpet, hand woven by the eponymous nomadic tribe circa 1920 with a geometrical design on an indigo field surrounded by multiple small borders. Some even wear gives this rug a great vintage look!
Size: 2.62m x 1.71m (8ft 7in x 5ft 7in)
This rug has medium age related wear, slightly heavier in places (see photos). The fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
