Description

Probably woven by the Qashquli Qashqai tribe weavers in south Persia in the early 20th century, this lovely nomadic piece is a beauty. It has soft fleecy wool and has been beautifully made by a very skillful weaver. The simple lattice design within a geometric border is charming and ideal for modern decorative settings. It has a fine all wool foundation. It is in excellent condition, professionally cleaned and ready for immediate use. Note also the original barber pole selvages which are still intact.
