A lovely Soffreh kilim with a traditional zig-zag design and an embroidered date of 1340 which would date it as 1920. These weavings were originally used for eating meals from - a bit like a tribal picnic blanket!
Size: 1.23m x 1.25m (4ft x 4ft 1in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Ends and selvedges are secure. It has been professionally cleaned although a few small surface marks remain, barely visible (see photos).
