A fabulous antique Ningxia rug, handwoven in northern China circa 1900 with a lovely gold field. Rugs of this design would have been woven as temple meditation mats.
Size: 1.40m x 0.68m (4ft 7in x 2''ft 3in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. The fringes and selvedges are original and secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
